Hi, I’m Chantal
I’m a person-centred counsellor based in Buckinghamshire working face to face and across the UK online. It is a real dream come true for me with the added prize of working in an area I love the most.
Before training to become a counsellor, I have always worked in service for others and I am grateful to have gained extensive experience caring for others whether in youth work, supported living and advocacy.
I hold a BSc in Psychology which underpins my understanding of behaviour and how Being a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) means I work within their ethical framework and you can trust that your sessions are held to the highest professional standards and that everything you share with me remains confidential. I registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and meet GDPR requirements.
I am commited to continuing professional development (CPD), consisently building my knowledge and skills through training and reflection to support and strengthen my practice.
No two people are the same, and no two journeys through counselling look the same either. Meaningful change in counselling takes time and trusting the process is an important part of that, unfolding gradually rather than a quick fix.
What you can always expect from me:
A calm, non-judgemental presence
Compassion, not just professional courtesy
Honesty, respect and confidentiality
A pace that works for you
I offer sessions both in person at my consulting room in Chalfont St Peter, and online — so wherever you are, support is within reach.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I don't take a directive approach for where your sessions should go — I follow your lead, at your pace, honouring whatever you bring to the room.
