How we work together

The way we work together will be led by you.‍ ‍

In person-centred counselling, you will be met without judgement and accepted as you are. From there, the focus, depth and pace of each session will follow your lead helping you move towards a life that is more aligned with your true self. I aim to create a safe, empathic space where you can feel truly heard and understood.

I believe deeply in your capacity for change and that person-centred counselling takes time. Anxiety and low mood can often stem from internal conflicts - from who you think you should be and who you truly are. If you have chosen to begin counselling, it is a meaningful step towards exploring the patterns and layers of your experience. I recognise that these can be influenced by family, culture, relationship and societal pressures that surround you and I bring an awareness of how these influences can be lived and how identity matters. Our work together will be collaborative, honest and authentic with a focus on building trust in yourself so you can engage more fully in the world.
